I checked out several marinas in Tarpon Springs. Stopped by Anclote Isles at least five times different hours of the day as the sign on the door read "out on docks, back at 1:30". No one ever there and not on docks either. Ok place but needs a good clean up. Docks are in terrible need of repair; rotted boards topside and underneath, dock rocks side to side. No amenities except 2 bathrooms & showers. Spoke with some boat owners who all seemed very unhappy with the current dock master and condition of the docks. I was advised to look elsewhere. NO pumpout (as advertised online), no coke machine, no gathering place. Found other marinas on that side of the river that were much nicer with helpful and friendly dock hands, someone always in the office and much better amenities; some with popular restaurants. Would recommend you check those out.
