During his residency training, Dr. Y.K. Peter Park experienced an instant connection with oncology, which he describes as a “special field,” with the opportunity to develop deep relationships with his patients, which he enjoys. He is honored to be part of his patients’ journey and have the opportunity to provide cutting-edge treatments so that they can achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Park is Board-certified in Medical Oncology. He received his medical degree from Yonsei University Medical College in Seoul, Korea. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, New York and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists in 2009, Dr. Park provided care to patients in the Tampa Bay region, including at the Tampa VA Hospital.
