Its projects include: the signature 'Spaceship Earth' geodesic sphere at the entrance to Epcot Center; the Florida Aquarium in Tampa; Boston's Storrow Drive Connector Bridge; 17th Street Bridge in Atlanta; and the 39-story One Tampa Center. Tampa Steel receives orders for bridges from customers throughout the United States. The company is certified for major steel bridges-FCM and complex structures with the paint endorsement under the AISC Certification Program. Tampa Steel was founded in 1945 and is located in Tampa, Fla. Its manufacturing facility is comprised occupies 150,000 square feet on more than 25 acres.
