The appointment was sold as a energy efficiency evaluation. We expected someone to evaluate our home and show us inefficiencies. Instead we were presented with a high pressure sales pitch about purchasing alot of solar equipment on the spot. After explaining how we don't make decisions without doing our own research the salesman seems to start making it personal. They may have a good product, but I will never know because the trickery and high pressure sales tactics made me extremely unsettled.

My wife and I recently bought a solar water heater from this company (They also have an office in Tampa. Alias names FAFCO Orlando and FAFCO Tampa) after responding to a telemarketing call promising a free energy savings assessment from a qualified technician. What we got was a solar water heater salesman from this company. We purchased the system, mainly because we had already been thinking of the solar alternative; however, I wish I would have done my research first. This company uses pressure sales tactics including references to Florida State Law, Free Installation, Free Permitting and additional warranties that to this date I still don't have paperwork on. They are quick to get you financed; but, slow to respond to your requests. It's been almost two months and I still don't have documentation on the 50/50 warranty that I was promised. If your looking at Solar Heating, I recommend doing your research first. There are a lot of good products and companies out there. Mike
