I'm not a "Food Snob" by any means, but my wife and I were definitely not impressed with Roy's. While we did enjoy the overpriced cocktails, the food left us wanting more. We started out with the aforementioned drinks and were eagerly awaiting the start of our meal. We decided to try the Prix Fix dinner option which Roy's offers. This way, you can choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for one price. This we liked. The rib appetizer was first and that was definitely a treat, but that was really the highlight of the evening. The main course was a nutcrusted mahi mahi. It lacked any sort of flavor and honestly I could have prepared a tastier fish at home. The Wasabi mashed potatoes sounded like they would be great, but lacked in flavor as well. As for dessert, the Molton chocolate cake was served lukewarm and tasted like Betty Crocker had made it. While the ambiance and the service were spectacular, I don't think I would pay that much money for mediocre food again. Sorry.

The best decision I ever made!

One of the best dinners I've ever eaten! Try the tuna appetizer. Absolutely beautiful. It comes with a fantastic wasabi sauce. The rib appetizers are wonderful. Don't forget to try the hawaiian martini. It tastes like a pina coloda! Everything on the menu is exceptional. I've had the filet mignon, the crusted mahi and the walu. Delicious. The presentation is gorgeous for every item. You will walk out thinking it was the best meal you've ever eaten. I call it, "not just good, it's crazy good!!!" Don't forget their famous molten chocolate cake! The coconut pudding in a chocolate shell with fresh fruit is a treat so delicious you'll have trouble putting your spoon down! A dinner for two will cost around $100.00 with drinks.Well, well worth the price!
