It Is within her right, I suppose, to choose whom she elects to see as patients.. Unfortunately we do NOT have health insurance , I was told she was no longer seeing people without insurance, when I called to schedule an appointment from the card I received from her office telling me it was time for my annual check up...!! Why did Dr. Mechanik NOT make the effort to INFORM her non-insurance patients they would no longer be welcomed by her YET they did NOT take my name off the mailing list?? I had been going to her for medical advice for well over 20 years and NOT ONCE did I NOT pay her..
