      This was the worst purchasing experience and customer service. Save yourself the hassle, money, and disrespect. The owner, Bill, swindled me for $550. He employs the slimiest techniques and when confronted becomes unresponsive. Cutter doesn't offer the lowest price but Bill agrees to match competitors' prices if you find them. We agreed on a machine and price and he urged me to fill out my own financing application online without coming in to his store. I put the price we'd discussed as the amount to be financed with the company. Without my permission or consent, he told the financing company to file my application for a different ($550 higher) amount. He altered my application which contains sensitive financial information, social security number etc. with absolutely no notice to me. The financial company told me this is completely unorthodox; they assumed when speaking to Bill on the phone that I was in the room instructing him to raise the total loan amount. Days later his father delivered the machine (3 hours late) with paperwork showing undisclosed charges and a model year newer machine than the one agreed to. I pointed out the issues, with a smile he assured me Bill would take care of all these discrepancies if I would just sign on the dotted line. My trust in this family was a huge mistake. I called Bill to address these major issues and he actually raised his voice at me, saying I couldn't possibly have thought I'd get the competitor's rate without the price going up in other ways. He claimed he never discloses his fees because his customers "know to expect them." He said he'd get me the correct model year machine. In the days following I visited the store, called, texted, emailed and Bill would not respond. He never got me the right machine and obviously had no intention of remedying his wrongs. These were undoubtedly unethical and in all likelihood illegal. I could not more strongly advise anyone thinking of engaging with this business to find another.

      I spoke with Bill from Cutter Power Equipment over the phone. I asked him if he could beat a competitors price. Bill said he wouldn't and then went off on me and hung up without giving me a chance to reply. This is not how you gain potential customers. If you can't beat a price that's fine but I can guarantee you that he lost any future business that I may have done with him. I can only imagine how they handle service issues or any others that may arise. If you like dealing with people that do not care about their customers one bit by all means shop here. Bill if you read this I hope that it encourages you to brush up on your professionalism skills!.
