Sequoyah High School, founded in 1871, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as business education, humanities, social studies, science, language arts, mathematics, foreign languages, and health and special education. The school provides a variety of sports activities that include baseball, golf, wrestling, basketball, softball, cross country, track, football, volleyball, weight lifting and cheerleading. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include student council, intramural team sports, National Honor Society, academic teams, choir, drama and self defense programs. It has clubs that include math and art clubs. The school provides a wide range of services, such as career counseling, tutorial assistance and academic guidance. Sequoyah High School is located in Tahlequah, Okla.
