Sherman Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes programs in reading, writing, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers classes in art, music and physical education. Sherman Elementary School has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes book fairs, awards and bingo nights, carnivals and other fundraising events. It also organizes girls night outs to promote friendship and support among girls with a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, yoga and dance.
