  Additionally, Dr. Harmon works with a group of specialists to assist collaboratively when called upon. Whether it is primary care, cardiology, urology, or a host of other specialties, he has access to the expertise needed. Dr. Harmon and his colleagues consider it a privilege to be part of your aviation medicine team. We recognize that flying is your livelihood and will use our team’s resources with the goal of maintaining your ability to fly.
• Electrocardiogram
  Include your name, phone number, 3 available dates, and preferred times between 9am-3pm. If you are new to my practice, please let me know. We are able to perform your EKG.

Internists

• Internal Medicine
  Kirk began flying with his father in a Beechcraft Bonanza at a young age, always flying in the right seat. Dr. Harmon was accepted to the Air Force Academy, but did not pass the vision standard for a pilot slot. He attended Purdue University instead, and earned his Medical Degree from Cornell Medical College, and completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine (adult specialist) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Harmon’s love of flying never lessened, and at the conclusion of his residency, he joined the Air National Guard, RF4 squadron, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was trained as a Flight Surgeon and became “Rated Air Crew” as a Flight Surgeon attending to the health and welfare of the squadron pilots.
