They tell me that the Blue Mouse theater has never ceased to operate since 1923. That's 86 years and counting. Every time my wife and I go to the movies at the old theater we can't help but think that we're stepping back in history but also experiencing something that's always new. If you have an old theater in your town...support it. If you have an old building that used to be a theater try to buy it back and restore it. There's nothing like an old theater. And, in the case of the Blue Mouse, there's nothing like the prices they charge....VERY inexpensive. What an asset to Tacoma!
