The Montessori Discovery School is an exceptional school. The teachers provide a warm, welcoming, and secure environment for young children. The school successfully blends Montessori teaching tools and self-directed teaching methods with traditional teacher-directed programs. At age five, our son not only knew how to add and subtract positive numbers, but also knew how to add and subtract negative numbers. The teachers are highly experienced and very dedicated to fostering each child's academic and social development, natural curiosity, and creativity. From learning about the life cycle of a butterfly to reading poetry in front of the class, our children's experiences at MDS were well beyond our expectations. Our children eagerly looked forward to each day at MDS and truly discovered a love of learning.
