I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in private practice. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families and I see patients suffering from a wide variety of psycholog1cal issues including, for example, anxiety, depression, identity and personality problems and relationship issues. I have worked extensively with stepfamilies to make the merge more successful, guided families through the tumult of separation and divorce, and taught parents survival tactics for parenting teens. My approach includes a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy working on changing patterns that are ineffective as well as a dynamic understanding of the self by allowing feelings to surface that are buried and interfering with healthy functioning.
