Blue Star Transportation is a family owned and operated taxi service operating since 2001. You can experience the cleanest, newest and nicest taxi cabs in central New York. Our driver's are prompt, knowledgeble and courteous. All drivers are screened and drug tested for your safety and others. We are based out of Syracuse, NY but we can take you any where in all 50 states.

NEVER call the, call some other taxi company, requested a cab for 4:20 the guy came at 4:20 and said he needed to pick up two more people and I'm sorry but it's a cab service not a pull service got me to the airport late, he didn't even know how to get to the buildings of the other people he had to pick up and he was REALLY RUDE when I told him I needed to get to the airport he started yelling "what time your flight" "what time your flight" "you never late". Last time I called it was the same horrible experience. The cab driver kept saying he was "outside" and e wasn't, once he got to where I was he was like "sorry sorry I got lost" and because he kept saying he was outside the lady from the company key telling me to wait outside and I nearly froze. TERRIBLE service never again will I call this cab company

They were awful. The worst service I've ever had and a serious lack of professionalism. As a Syracuse student I will never use this service for the rest of my career in the area
We were exceptionally disappointed in this company. We had been travelling many hours and confirmed our appointment before boarding our last flight. During that flight, they called -- we of course did not have our phone on. When we landed, we turned on the phone, noticed the missed call and also the text message that they were outside waiting. The cab was not there so we called and they lied, saying that the car could not wait curbside so it was just outside the airport. Forty minutes later, close to 1:00 am, the man showed up, telling us that he had received a cancellation on us and that he went to do another job. In addition, the price was not the one we were quoted over the phone, either to or from the airport. And finally, both cabs were exceptionally dirty. We will never use them again and cannot recommend them.
This is the worst cab company I ever saw in my life. Dispatchers are rude and scamming costumers that cab is going to come and I have been waiting over one hour on the street believing they are doing their freaking job. Me, my family, friends and business coworkers will never ever again call this company. Awful
I was late to my doctors appointment because my ride didn't show up. I called blue star and they were at my house in 10 minutes and got me to my very important doctors appointment. When I was done I called them back for a return ride. They showed up quickly and took me back home. They saved my day. Thank you Blue star.
I called because it had been a half hour since calling, and wanted to see where they were. they claimed they called me numerous times that they were waiting for me. the woman on the phone said "so you have a good night" and hung up on me. I checked my calls and they NEVER called me. horrible people.
absolutely terrible. Made a reservation the night before, they assured me the taxi would be at my apt at 5:45 the next morning. At 5:45am, they weren't there, so i called them. They said the would "send a taxi over." By 6am, it still wasn't there, so i called again. They said the taxi was 3-4 minutes away. It still didn't show up, so i called AGAIN, when they told me they couldn't send a taxi (after they told me one was already on the way...). We relied on this company to get us to the bus station on time, and it didn't. The taxi NEVER showed up!
I was late to my destination as slow communication between dispatch and the driver made it impossible to be on time. I wish we had taxis on every corner like the big city. I'd rather ride the back of a truck or hitch hike than ever use Blue Star again! Now I know why I don't usually call for taxis.
If you ever need a reliable taxi DO NOT call Blue Star taxi. They never show up when they say they will(or at all). This has happened to my friends and I on multiple occassions. Most recently was an SU basketball game where they told us they were picking us up in 15min and an hour later they still hadn't shown up. And the only reason why I even gave them 1 star is because I had to to write this review. I will never again call Blue Star.
I had a horrible experience with them today. dont evver believe them when they say theyll b there in 15 minutes coz ull actually have to wait for an hour. I called them up 3 times to ask where the cab was and then after " looking into " where he was i was told he wud b there in 3 minutes.Finally when I called to cancel he tells me he s already in the parking lot which is totally wrong coz I was standing there in the snow!!!! I wouldnt recommend this cab company to anyone!!!!!!!
I called ahead of time to book a cab to come back for a wedding. They told me an exact flat rate but then instead ran the meter which conveniently charged us $20 more. When I called to inquire why this happened the OWNER, and I quote, said "don't worry about it". He even was degrading and said "didn't you have fun at the wedding?? Why are you concerned about this?" It was disgusting how they not only ripped us of but the degrading treatment was unbelievable. There are plenty of taxi companies in Syracuse. Go somewhere else!!!
The Doubletree Hotel called a Blue Star taxi for me and the taxi arrived on time. However, on our way to the airport, we asked why the driver wasn't taking the highway and he responded "this way is shorter". The hotel had told us that the ride to the airport would cost about $17. When we arrived, the meter read $44!! When I asked the driver why he took that long route, his reply was "it's the way I always go". Never use this dishonest company unless you're sure of the route!
I should have listened to the poor rating from a previous post, but Blue Star Taxi was the only company that claimed to have a debit card payment option. Calling Blue Star was a horrible mistake. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
Long story short, I called for a taxi to pick me up at 5 p.m., an hour in advance. 5 o'clock rolled around, nothing. 5:15. I call Blue Star. No one picks up. It rings incessantly. I keep calling, no reply. Out of desperation, I called Campus 4su-Taxi. They were at my front door in 5 minutes.
It is now close to 5:45 p.m., and still no word from Blue Star. Thank God I called another company. My friend would've missed her train.
Don't call them. Unreliable and terribly rude.
I've had the misfrotune of calling them a few times over the past 2 years and almost all the time they they 10-15mins but arive later than that.
The people on the phone are rude as well. Once the driver had a hard time finding the a building at SU and she actually said that she couldn't help me. She could have cared less, if I went with another taxi service.
I think the people on the phone shoudl be replaced if the company wants to be better. I won't be using them again. Seriously go with anyone people.
A lof freshman and sophomores go with Blue star cuz they know the number cuz they have great advertising as its in our SU planner. Or they just think thats just what you get from a taxi service company.
Like me who come from the suburbs, a lot of people have never used a taxi service. But rudeness and lack of dependability should not be accepted.
I scheduled a 6:30am pickup to the airport and the driver was on time and got me to the airport safely. I'll use this cab service on my next trip to Syracuse.

I had a great experience riding with Blue Star taxi. The driver picked me up from my home on time and was extremely friendly. I had some errands to run and he agreed to pick me up at a certain time, and sure enough he was there right on time. The cab was clean and I will use this service again.
