Wawasee Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in music, band, choir, computer science and information technology. In addition, Wawasee Middle School supports several sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and cross country. It also operates various student organizations, including academic bowl, yearbook team, tribal council, and skiing and drama clubs. Located in Syracuse, Ind., Wawasee Middle School is a part of Wawasee Community School Corporation, which operates several elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools.
