Welcome The Sykesville Veterinary clinic is located at the ABAR CENTER at the intersection of Liberty Road and Klee Mill Road. We have been serving the Carroll County community since 1995. Our practice covers small animals and pocket pets, but does not serve livestock, birds or exotics at present. Our mission is to provide personal, quality, compassionate care for our patients and their families, enhancing the human animal bond. The clinic is provides a detailed diagnosis of the health of your pet. They have great hours and are easy to contact. The only drawback are alot of fees that are high compared to other vets in the area. A $3.25 fee per needle for disposal. That seems a bit high. As well as the standard fee just to be seen.
Each time I visit Sykesville Veterinary Clinic everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Stemley and Dr. Colwell are very knowledgable and put your mind at ease. The vet techs always handle the animals with loving care. All phone calls are returned immediately and all questions are always answered. I highly recommend Sykesville Veterinary Clinic to anyone that has a pet. They go out of their way to not only make the animal feel comfortable but the owner as well. This is the only vet I have ever looked forward to visiting. --Stacie Underwood

A wonderful staff! My regular vet didn't have any available emergency appointments to see my sick dog. I called Vet, and they saw him immediately. They have worked at accommodate my schedule. I was so happy to make the switch; I feel like they really care about their clients.
