I was in the emergency room at 8 am 1/1/14 with a reaction to poison ivy. I told the receptionist that I would be paying cash. 15 min. in the exam room, a doctor that looked at me and said that what I had alright and then a shot, two scrips and a wait of 30 min. in the waiting room in case I had a reaction to the shot, I was ready to leave. I went to pay and was told I would get 40% off and then was ask to pay 1301 dollars. Later a bill for 686 dollars for the doctor bill. 3 Weeks later I went to the Doctor and went by the billing office and found out that I had been over billed by 749 dollars. After 6 visits to the billing office trying to get this and some other bills straight I got a bill for 100 dollars for I do not know. I still owe the doctor and will never pay them at the 12,000 dollar rate they charged me. 5 Min. X 600 dollars. Next time I guess I will have to just die. I will not be back.
