I tried a cheeseburger there and it was one of the best cheeseburgers I have eaten. I have been going there ever since when I get the craving for a huge cheeseburger.

My wife and I have been eating here on the weekends (instead of driving to Columbia) to get chef-driven meals such as mahi-mahi, blackened salmon, fresh crabcakes, oysters, and pasta dishes for several dollars less! What a gem of a place! His regular menu features large, gourmet burgers, the best grilled chicken club sandwich (huge for $5.99, feeds 2) I've had in along time, and much more. His stone-ground grits are as good as I've ever had. Locally owned and operated, which is a plus for me. Unless you're into deep-fried, frozen, canned stuff, you have to try this place! Incredible value!

Hard to believe that on Friday and Saturday night in the little town of Swansea, it is possible to get a gourmet meal. Chef Phil is outstanding at combining unique ingredients to create delicious dishes. Daily fair is also outstanding, large portions outweigh what might appear to be high prices. All ingredients are of highest quality and always fresh. Stop in for breakfast the grits are unbelieveable.
