General Info

John Shih, D.O, FAAFP is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He is on staff at Emory Hospital, Johns Creek and Gwinnett Medical Center, Duluth and Lawrenceville. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and has been practicing in Georgia since 1995. He is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA, certified to perform Class 1, 2 and 3 medical exams for pilots and flight professionals and is nationally Board certified by the Department of Transportation to perform DOT exams for truck drivers. He is an active member of the Gwinnett-Forsyth medical society where he was a past president and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. He lives locally in Suwanee with his family and loves to spend time on Lake Lanier.
