Enjoy your fitting time as you watch one of Katherine's professionals evaluate and fit your garment to help you look great and feel wonderful. Katherine has a 4 year Fashion Design degree with a concentration in couture sewing techniques. She loves working with her clients and teaching them how to use color, proportion and fabrications to flatter their figure. Katherine also belongs to the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals and attends their conferences for continuing education from world renowned experts. Katherine's Design and Alterations specializes in alterations and custom sewing. Wedding gown fitting, hems and bustles, bridesmaid dresses, men's suit alterations, pants hems, and especially plus size clothing. Custom sewing is a passion for Katherine. She will take expert measurements and photos and show you what your garment will look like on YOUR body before it is even contructed! Katherine and her team are ready to take care of all your needs!

WOW!

I recently had my wedding dress altered by Katherine, and because I had never had anything altered before, I didn't know what to expect. Katherine treated me like I was the only person who mattered. She was respectful of my privacy when trying on my dress and her fitting went very quickly. When I picked up my dress it was absolutely PERFECT ! She did a combination of two types of bustles which was amazing, and her final invoice was exactly the same amount as she had estimated. I am very pleased with her work and will certainly use her again when I purchase clothing that doesn't quite fit just right
