3805 North University Drive Sunrise, FL 33351‎ Greetings, We went to this Hooter's tonight hoping they had the Miami Heat and Suns game and as we walked in, the place was packed. They had the game playing outside on 1 TV while the fight was on the rest of the other 10+ TV's there. We walked inside and the girl in the entrance was nice and gave us an option to sit in the back or up in the front of the right entrance section. I noticed the seat in the front had a great view to the Basketball game within that section just a bit down south from the table so we took it. The other TV inside had the game in back of me across into another section which was inconvenient, so there was no way I was able to see it well. Not to mention the surround speakers inside were all dedicated to the UFC fight blasting the fight all over. Suddenly the Basketball game went into halftime and then they turned all the TV's into the UFC fight. We watched a couple of fights and then as the game came back, we noticed they kept all the TV's on the fight minus that one TV in the back across into the other section that was a pain to watch and the one we were watching . I asked our waiter if they were nice enough to switch the game back on the TV where it changed for halftime. She came back and said her manager denied our request. I then asked to speak with the manager whom I spoke with; and after explaining everything as stated within this complaint, he said people were there to watch the fight. I asked why the other section across the back had the game on as the outside section had 1 TV dedicated to the game as well, and why couldn't they just put 1 TV on our section as it was given the fact there was at least 9 other TV's in our section alone playing the fight and he still rejected our request. We found the lack of leadership from this manager embarrassing and I called the rest of the party of friends who were already on their way to meet up elsewhere. I asked the waitress for my check and we all left from there soon after. I think that Hooter's needs to be somewhat fair and be considerate of other guests watching a game. We planned a night out with friends and family to join a restaurant which needs to learn to not hog all televisions for 1 event only. If you have 10+ TV's in one section and a guest that was already racking close to 100$ within 45 minutes and counting to put back 1 of those 10+ TV's from that section, you should not sit on your high horse and just deny. As a manager, you need to learn to listen and study your guests. Understand their needs and accommodation accordingly knowing that there were people standing around not paying anything and were simply there to only watch the fight and nothing else while paying customer's got the shaft on the other end. Nice Job, I hope your District Manager reads this and corrects the inexperience management that runs this Hooter's location to be more friendly towards paying gusts. Thanks
