Took my moms lexus into sun cities tire and auto, after seeing that they had won the top shop award from AAA 15 years in a row, to get a second opinion. my mom had taken her vehicle into another sun city west shop to have a leak checked. the other shop quoted my mom over $1400.00 to replace the rack and pinon. Jon at sun cities tire and auto took mw out to the vehicle and showed me it was a simple o-ring on the line. $15.00 later my moms car was done and has not leaked a drop in over a month. i see now why AAA has given this shop so many awards

Agree with John. Check around before you have anyone do work on your car. I had a neighbor that went to this shop who was told her tires were bad and needed replacement. A neighbor took her car down to Wal Mart and was told the tires were good. Not sure of the expertise of Wal Mart techs, but.........check around for anything when the price seems excessive. Come to think about it, I had an experience with this shop too. They replaced tires on my pickup and matched the tires that were on it without asking if I wanted less expensive tires?

Recently needed struts on car. Went to have them checked out. I thought they were bad. Turns out they were. So, I asked how much to replace same. Jeff, the service manager told me they could do the job for $1020 + TAX.



That price seemed excessive to me so I did a little price comparison:



Arrowhead Honda $814 tax included

Firestone Bell Rd $523 " "

Brakes Plus $630 " " LTW



I paid $612 Out the door and had them done by another shop.



Sun City Tire does good work, but they think just because we are a retirement community that we all rich and can afford more money for the whatever we need. Not true. So I would say check around and compare prices. They are really high at this store.

My only regret is buying a Chrysler, but to help compensate for that mistake I have excellent mechanics and a trustworthy repair shop. This is my second time doing business with Sun Cities Tire & Auto, and I can?t say enough good things about them. I?ve been in a financial bind sense I made the decision to stay home and take care of my mom, and as you can imagine we don?t have disposable income so when our ten year old car breaks down, it?s a big deal. The owner and guys, who work at Sun Cities Tire & Auto, always work with my limited budget, explain things thoroughly, and are polite. The best compliment I can give them is they are like having family looking out for us. I feel safe, confident and absolutely convinced that I?m receiving the best service in town. I for one am sticking with my family. Thank you so very much.
