I'm giving it one star 'cause I can't give ZERO.

Some incompetent lady at the passport office scheduled an appointment for me. The supervisor DON RAMEIRO comes out to me after 40 days of waiting saying that there is no appointment scheduled.

They don't provide a confirmation for the appointment and afterwards have the guts to say I did not make that appointment.

If you make an appointment at this PO ask for a confirmation or tape the conversation.

And guess what - myself, my wife and my son we all took days off to be present there, according to the regulations.

What a bunch on INCOMPETENTS!! Do you hear that post master Troy Eber?

I have had several occasions recently using the Post Office on 98th and Bell Rd. I commend the staff. They work hard and as fast as they can. They are helpful and courteous. If they are not, they have good reason having to deal with people that have no place to go but are impatient and crabby and demanding. what you sow, so shall you reap people.

This is not for a specific United States Post Office, but it is about USPS customer services. On July 9th,2010 I mailed a replacement computer to my Daughter in nice France. It was mailed from the Sun City Post office and insured. To make a long story short, my daughter never got the computer. Trying to deal with the USPS to file an insurance claim is nothing more then a joke. You deal with rude people who could care less. Every time you call, you get a different answer. Now I am told the French need 37 days to search for the missing computer... Unbelievable ! I'll just accept the fact I'm out the money. This has taught me a lesson.... NEVER use the United States Post Office to ship anything of any reasonable value to Europe.

The other day I went to this post office to send some fruit to relatives in two of those 'if it fits, it ships' boxes. I also intended to send in my application for a passport renewal. Upon arriving just prior to 5 PM, I noticed that the hours of operation of the passport renewal office were from 9 AM to 3Pm.



Previously, my passport renewal application had been rejected by the Justice Department at the passport office in Pennsylvania because they didn't like the quality of the photos (taken at a UPS store). After the rejection I had two new passport photos taken at the same UPS store. As it turned out, the photos were not exact duplicates due to an error in the UPS camera.



After paying for the shipping of my fruit, I told the Post Office desk agent (Nancy) about my rejected passport application, and that I guessed I would have to come back during normal Passport business hours. She then asked me to show her the application form, and then pointed out the discrepancy in the photos. Even though it was officially after closing time of this Post Office, Nancy escorted me the the passport office, took two new photos and processed my application on the spot.



In my opinion, her actions indicated that she was willing to go 'beyond her job' to satisfy a postal customer. I really appreciate her professionalism.
