Tuomey Hospital ER refused service for my 20 yr old nephew, because he didn't have proof of insurance. He had insurance, but it was with a new insurance company and he hadn't yet received his card. I thought it was illegal to refuse treatment to individuals who require emergency help. Meanwhile, the administration at Tuomey is in hot water for medicare fraud. This hospital needs to close down, the administrators should be given prison time, and it needs to re-open under new leadership. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!!!
