I truly believe this is the best take out Chinese food in Sumter!

I have been a customer of Teriyaki Wok for many years but today, February 27, 2012, was my last time visiting their establishment. I refuse to spend money for HORRIBLE Customer Service. I mistakenly paid for a fried shrimp and shrimp fried rice basket without looking at it first. The fried shrimp was hard and when I asked if I could replace it with another menu item, I was told, BY THE OWNER, that Teriyaki Wok does not substitute items because they would have to throw the item away and would lose money. The owner did not consider my satisfaction as a customer. I asked for a refund but was told that they did not give refunds. I pointed out that although they had several signs on the wall, none of them said ‘No Refund’. I was told again, no exchange and no refund. I left the food on the counter along with my money. I knew that Teriyaki Wok would lose a lot more than I did because I will NEVER visit Teriyaki Wok again and I will tell family, friends, colleagues… about the AWFUL service that I received at Teriyaki Wok and I will encourage them to tell their family, friends, colleagues…

They have the best fried rice in town. All of their food is delicious! The prices are very reasonable as well. I only wish that they took credit/debit cards.
