Heritage Middle School provides educational services to students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of the School District 104. It provides education in language arts, mathematics, science, history and current events. The school curriculum is based on the framework of the Illinois State Board of Education. It offers a range of programs, including accelerated reader and gifted and special education. The school also conducts after-school tutorials and summer learning camps and provides health and technology education classes. It offers cocurricular activities, including basketball, volleyball and physical education. Additionally, Heritage Middle School provides online learning resources and food services.
