W. W. Lewis Middle School is a part of Calcasieu Parish Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. W. W. Lewis Middle School serves more than 800 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, language arts, science and social studies. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, band, chorus, home economics, life skills, world languages, applied technology and physical education. In addition, W. W. Lewis Middle School supports several sports activities, including football and volleyball. It operates various student organizations, such as a student council and beta and builders clubs.
