Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio (AMSDS) opened it's original facility in 1971 in the Alief area, where we operated for 31 years. In 2002, we built a new state-of-the-art facility in Sugar Land where we now operate. Our teachers not only have excellent dance educations and teaching experience, but we continue to learn new material to present to our students. Dance is not only a wonderful art which provides entertainment to the audience, but also, and more importantly for young dancers, dance is a source of self-esteem and confidence, which is so important in a child's development. We provide a family-type', non-competitive atmosphere where parents may view classes at any time and where students enjoy all of what dance has to offer. Therefore, we feel that we offer something unique --- we teach students to "love to dance" as well as the very best in style and technique, whether they are here to pursue a professional career, or merely to gain grace, poise and coordination.
