      Wait staff is amazing! The food is always fresh and delicious. Portions are large. Also try their desserts, if you have room.

      Very friendly staff, and fantastic food.

      Well, that pretty much sums it up, but I have to say, this is a great restaurant. The spaghetti and meatballs is a great item to fill you up, they give you a whole lot it. The rolls are delicious, they'll go faster than they came.Make sure to get the CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP!

      Great quality for the price!!!

      If you want an "authentic" Greek salad, this is the place! Friendly wait staff, always clean, food is ALWAYS fresh and piping hot. Always packed on weekend nights but it's simply because people want the best!!! Keep up the good work, guys!

      My family trucks in from Carolina for dinner at Georges. Try the steak with mushrooms. Also does a great lunch business with locals.

      In the early 70’s John & George Taglis moved to the United States from their native country of Greece. They started working in the restaurant business at Virginia Steakhouse in Virginia Beach. When the opportunity presented itself, the two brothers, along with their uncle, George Skartsiounis, who was also known as “Big George,” decided to open George’s Steakhouse on Holland Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Since George’s Steakhouse opened its doors in 1978, it has become a major part of Suffolk’s community. For over 30 years, The Taglis brothers have established a local following in the community that they are proud of. Both brothers currently reside in Suffolk. John, and his wife, Kiki, have two children, Angela and “Little Victor.” George, and his wife, Haroula, also have two children, Pam and “Big Victor.” It truly is a family owned business. John and George’s families have worked at George’s over the years, and continue to be part of the business today. Both John & George are proud of their accomplishments and grateful to be such a huge part of the community.
