Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Ramstad has vast experience in primary care, urgent care, and emergency room medicine. He is known for being a thorough, compassionate provider: Ramstad earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk, Va. and completed his Internal Medicine internship at Brown University's Miriam Hospital, in Providence, R.I. His residency was accomplished at the University of Southern California - Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, in Santa Barbara, Ca. Ramstad earned a Master of Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a certified medical review officer and since 2011 has served as medical director for Health Research of Hampton Roads, Inc.
