Established in 1988, Pinewood Elementary School is spread across an area of more than 10 acres. It has an enrollment of over 750 students and is located in Stuart, Fla. The school offers courses in reading, science, art, physical education and music. It also offers a character education program that focuses on ethical values. The school additionally organizes chess tournaments, science fairs, academic games and spelling contests. Its science fairs feature various projects related to earth, space and environment. The school has a modern broadcast studio that produces daily morning shows. Pinewood Elementary School also has a computer laboratory with more than 35 Pentium computers and a projection system.
