St James School is a Catholic institution that serves more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It offers educational courses in English, Spanish, art, math, social studies and science. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. St James School hosts several fundraising events, as well as promotes students participation in basketball. In addition, it operates a cafeteria that serves chicken nuggets, sweet potatoes, pancakes, sausage, fruits, salads and french fries. The school provides a variety of programs for children with disabilities. It also maintains a library that features a range audiovisual CDs and reading materials.
