Founded in 1954, Woodland Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade four. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school conducts classes in special education, music and art, as well as provides before- and after-school programs. It also operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. The school maintains a library and media center that features a collection of books and reference and instructional materials. Located in Stow, Ohio, the school provides food, health and transportation services. Woodland Elementary School is a part of Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
