I went into the stow store this afternoon with my chocolate phone that had just been replaced about 2 weeks ago, because the phone kept shutting off. I explained what was going on and was just going to get my upgrade instead of replacing this one again. I was told that my upgrade was due on the 16th of this month, but she would look at my phone. She came back about 2 minutes later and told me it was water damaged and she knew it because of the pink dots on the back of the phone. I know where my phone has been and it is ALWAYS in a case clipped on to me. I think I know if my phone was wet. But no, I am not intelligent enough to decide this, but those dots are. It didn't matter what I said, the dots were the only thing that mattered. I think that really stinks when my explanation doesnt matter and the only thing that does is the markings on the phone. It sounds to me that verizon has one awesome scam going on. I am very discouraged and intend to persue this further. It is wrong. I am a registered nurse with a degree, and sonehow I am sure I can tell when my phone is wet or not.
