ATT:GENERAL OR FINANCE MANAGER RELATIONSHIPS MATTER LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS Hello: I am Ken Kimberlin and wish to introduce myself and explain how, with my 30+ years in equipment maintenance, I can save you money on your maintenance expenses. First, a brief history of myself: I have over 30 years experience in establishing maintenance programs and working for some of the premier carriers in the trucking industry. I have been associated with fleets with the size of 100 units up to 4000 as Director of Maintenance. Some of my previous employers have been: Roadway, UPS, Leaseway, ANR Freight and several smaller carriers. I mention this only to assure you of my exposure to all facets of equipment maintenance. The following is what we do at K.T.M.C.: Establish PM programs for Tractor/Truck, Trailer, Reefer, Forklifts, Tire and Parts, which result in extended life cycles, better equipment utilization, improved CPM and improved R.O.I. of company assets. Vendor contractual negotiations - covering equipment leasing, repair criteria, repair time standards, labor rates and parts pricing. Also, monitor vendor quality of PM and repairs performed for repetitive failures. Establish policy and procedures for shop operation, resulting in an improved quan-quality culture for the maintenance technician, reducing cost and adding profit for the company.
