Fitz's is very professional. The service department well organized and efficient. Sometimes, I'll go elsewhere for less expensive parts (ie car battery) but the service is one I trust. Also, I like the guys in sales. I always deal with Tyson Rice, tho others are very customer-oriented as well. They are fair-minded.

I had my car checked in for wheel alignment and repair on Friday 1/25/13.A middle-aged representative told me that it would be ready the next day around 12 or 1230. The next day I walked over to the shop and found out that they closed around noon and that no one worked on my car. I was not given a phone call about the delay and I was lied to for the time frame to pick up my car. So, I had to wait until Monday to find out about my poor customer service treatment and delay on my vehicle. I went in that early Monday morning and the representative gave me an apology and then told me that my brake pads are only a quarter thick and need to be changed soon asking me if they should replace them. I declined. After my car was finished, and I paid, the next day I went to another local auto shop and they told me that my break pads are at least 50% thick with a good 10,000 miles or so left. Point: Fitzpatrick in storm lake lacks ethics and effective customer service skills. I think they are too saturated with their known customer base to care and they need new blood with integrity. I've had my car servied here for years they even pick it up and deliver it back to me at work so i don't have to take time outa my day. They do great work!
