Established in 1967, The Stony Point Police Department is a law enforcement agency that provides a safe and secure environment for the residents with emphasis on equality, fairness, and professionalism. It has a staff of more than 30 full-time officers. It is structured into various bureaus, such as detective and youth. The Stony Point Police Department provides patrolling services for its citizens. Additionally, it supports several community service programs, including Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), child safety seat, neighborhood watch, smart sales and glass etching. The department also has a commercial vehicle enforcement unit. It is located in Stony Point, N.Y.
