Operational for more than 35 years, Community Medical Centers is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of health care and social services for migrant farm workers and uninsured and homeless individuals and families. The organization serves over 52,000 patients in San Joaquin, Solano and Yolo counties in California. With nearly 10 clinical sites, it has a work force of more than 325 employees. Community Medical Centers also provides dental care, nutrition counseling and health education services. The organization maintains a laboratory, pharmacy and school-based clinics. It additionally offers immunization, family planning and X-ray services. Community Medical Centers specializes in the treatment of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, asthma and hypertension. It is accredited by The Joint Commission.
