Gee Farms started as a small family-owned business by Gary W. Gee. It is centrally located between Jackson and Lansing Michigan. In the beginning, it was a fruit and vegetable stand which dealt mainly in wholesale and retail sales. Over the course of the last 30 years, it has expanded its market to the sale of retail and wholesale nursery stock, with a complete line of products to maintain the health and life of your garden purchase. Located in South central Michigan and with easy access from most major highways, Gee Farms is the ideal place to shop for all your gardening needs. While visiting the farm, you will be invited to browse through our 1+ acre of heated green houses. There you can find an overwhelming variety of potted plants, including bedding geraniums, seed geraniums, flowering annuals and perennials, climbing vegetation and a complete line of vegetable plants. After your visit to our greenhouses, you can't miss the main attraction - our 10 acres of potted nursery stock. Here you will find almost any tree, shrub, bush, or ornamental specimen your heart desires. Our knowledgeable staff is more than happy to answer any questions you may have or help with suggestions of nursery items that will work for your particular project. While in the nursery, be sure to step inside out of the sun and visit our shaded greenhouse, where you will find a huge selection of hostas, ground cover and not-so-fond-of-the-sun plants. Moving along the paths of our nursery, you will be delighted with the selection of ornamental grasses that are hardy and not-so-hardy to our climate. In the spring and early summer, we carry a great selection of hybrid, bush, shrub and Tea roses. Turn to us for some of the hard-to-find varieties. Lastly, for the more explorative person at heart, throw on your hiking boots and walk thru the 75 acres of large field -grown trees. Out here you will find larger stock if you're the type that wants instant results and can't wait a few years for the smaller items to grow. Not only do we sell the material, we will also plant it for you. When you come to see us be sure to bring a picture of your project. We can make recommendations or suggestions from your photographs. If you're looking for retaining walls or paving stones, we carry a large selection of colors and styles.
