Located in Stilwell, Okla., Cherokee Nation is a health care organization. The center conducts an array of programs, such as diabetes prevention, community health, behavioral health, cancer prevention program and Cherokee elder care, to name a few. Additionally, it offers a range of services, including chronic/acute care, behavioral health, public health nursing, health promotion/disease prevention and emergency medical services, among others. Cherokee Nation also provides community recreation centers, activity clubs, residential adolescent treatment centers, hospitals and health centers.
