Customer service, satisfaction and attention to detail is not their strong point. The reason I went with CarStar (could have gone anywhere) is that I was assured by Dustin that they are a full services / one-stop repair shop. I informed Dustin that the seat belt on the passenger side would not latch and that it was fully functional prior to the accident. He assured me they would take care of it. Approximately $4,000 and two weeks later after multiple delays, I got the car back. A few days later I discovered the seat belt had NOT been repaired as promised. Kind of a major safety feature on a convertible. I took the car back to CarStar were Dustin informed me he forgot about it and that it would be another approx. $250.00 or I could take the car to the Chevy dealer since it was under warranty. When I expressed my frustration he proceeds to give me excuses about maybe it was not caused by the accident. What I wanted to hear was we apologize for the inconvenience, we will take care of this immediately, we won't charge you any labor since it was our mistake, I will take to the Chevy dealership and deliver back to your home. What I got was an, oh well, it's your problem. Very disappointing and frustrating to say the least. Bottom line, if you're looking for a repair shop that puts the customer first and strives for exceptional customer service I would recommend going elsewhere.
