North Jackson High, also known as NJHS, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 350 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, physical education, history, science and fine arts. The school also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. North Jackson High provides extracurricular activities in band. In addition, it operates Beta and Spanish clubs. The school offers guidance counseling and food services. Founded in 1988, North Jackson High organizes basketball, cheerleading, football, golf and softball tournaments. It also maintains a library and provides scholarship opportunities.
