I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.

As an Indian food lover, I cannot come up with a single criticism for this incredible restaurant.The Food:Consistently the best I've had in the Detroit metro area. The daily buffet has a great selection. Ordering off the menu has not disappointed either.The Service:Fantastic. The staff is excellent and very helpful at making suggestions and friendly as well.The Atmosphere:Very nice. Not overly done but still you feel like you're dining somewhere special.A few other things...The first, and I wish ALL Indian restaurants would follow this lead, they post the dishes that are going to be in the daily buffet on their website! Wait for a day when they have your favorites! I LOVE IT!The other nice thing is the Indian Grocery they own and is right next door to the restaurant. My kitchen now contains many of the spices that have endeared me to this wonderful cuisine.This restaurant is well worth the trip from anywhere around the Detroit area.
