Maple Lane Elementary School is an educational institution that enrolls children with emotional and behavioral disabilities. The school serves more than 90 students between the ages of 5 and 12. It conducts classes in various subjects, such as language arts, science, math and social studies. Maple Lane Elementary School also organizes bowling events and family nights for students in grades three through six. The school offers summer reading programs in collaboration with parents. In addition, it provides a variety of extracurricular activities that includes drama and choir. Maple Lane Elementary School operates a problem-solving group that focuses on critical and logical thinking skills. The school is governed by the Macomb Intermediate School District, which additionally manages several special education centers.
