Stayton Middle School, governed by North Santiam School District 29J, serves students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. It offers various athletic activities, including soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball. Stayton Middle School provides several special education programs for students with disabilities. The school also offers gifted and talented education programs. It organizes various parent-teacher conferences and fundraising events. Stayton Middle School maintains a library that houses a range of dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, reference materials, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books.
