Staunton Recreation & Parks operates under the city of Staunton, Va., and offers a wide range of facilities, including parks, swimming pools, a golf course, garden center, gymnasium, and health and fitness clubs. It also offers a variety of recreational programs, such as aquatics and athletics, visual and performing arts, and summer programs. Staunton Recreation & Parks provides various other programs, including cultural and community events, health programs, recreational activities for adults, teens and youth, and travel programs. The center maintains several recreational parks, such as Betsy Bell Park, Skateboard Park, Gypsy Hill Park and Booker T Center. Its horticulture department manages and maintains all kinds of facilities in parks.
