Steven H. Lin, D.O., is a board certified, fellowship-trained neurology and sleep medicine specialist. He provides diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for neurological conditions, while offering a special expertise in sleep disorders. Before joining Healthcare Associates in Medicine, a division of the Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialists Group, in 2014, he was the director of sleep services at Westchester Neurological Consultants in Yonkers, New York. Dr. Lin is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese. Dr. Lin attended University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA where he studied Psychology and Biological Basis of Behavior. Following the completion of his post-baccalaureate studies at NY Medical College in Valhalla, NY, he earned his medical degree at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Lin began his clinical training with an Internship in Internal Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency in Adult Neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. At Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester Medical Center in Massachusetts, Dr. Lin obtained sub-specialty training during his fellowship in Sleep Disorders Medicine, an ACGME Accredited Fellowship. Dr. Lin has researched and presented on such topics as the effect of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on insulin sensitivity, diagnosis and treatment of narcolepsy, and the classification of insomnia and treatment. In conjunction with his tenure at Healthcare Associates in Medicine, a division of Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialists Group, Dr. Lin maintains active fellowship with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Medical Society of the State of New York, and Richmond County Medical Society.
