You do not even deserve 1 star. I never in my life after being a dog owner for over 20 years experienced such a horrible service. Your Dr.'s seem to make a verbal diagnosis such as your dog has kennel cough and pneumonia. Then your Dr.'s recommend hospitalization that cost over $1,000 and explain if you do not agree to that service your dog's medical condition can get worst and even fatal. Then i ask if you have a payment plan being i can not afford the $1,000 and i want to help my dog stay alive and you tell me sorry no payment plans all services must be paid in full either by cash or credit. Then I ask your staff of Dr.'s for a letter to put their medical opinion in writing and they refuse to do so or want to change their diagnosis to a less serious condition now that your Dr.'s know it is in writing. My other dog who i love with all of my heart died while under your care. The worst and most horrible part is your staff knows my wife has stage 4 breast cancer and still are putting my family through this disgraceful money making scheme in my opinion. I am never coming back and making sure everyone i know who is a pet owner in our community to STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Our experience at Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital has been the best of any animal hospital we ever used. Dr. Meleleo is knowledgeable, patient and sincere. The staff are courteous, accomodating and extremely pleasant. The office is immaculate. Our two dogs are treated well and we have extreme confidence in everyone who works there. Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital is highly recommended.

I have to say I was extremely impressed with the service my yellow lab Jack received right from the initial phone call through his visit. Everyone was so polite, friendly and professional. Jack was so comfortable there they treated him so well. I had been going to another vet in my neighborhood for years, Richmond valley, when sitting there for almost an hour waiting for Jack to be seen I just got fed up and called Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital, made and appointment and when he arrived the experience was so pleasant, no wait!!! Needless to say I am now bringing my other 2 pets there. The name truly fits Pleasant!!!

My cats had been under the care of Dr. Meleleo when he was practicing at Bay Street Animal Hospital. I cannot speak highly enough to his abilities and care. He has always tended to my pets with as much interest as he would for his own. He is very down to earth and attentive to each concern. I am more than satisfied with the quality of care he provides as well as the nature of his character. I am so happy to find out he now has his own practice in Pleasant Plains and I highly recommend him.
