Susan A. Principato has well over 15 years experience in the elder law arena. Prior to opening her own practice, Ms. Principato was the managing attorney for a large elder law practice on Staten Island. Additionally, she was the Executive Director for a not-for-profit guardianship corporation in which she oversaw the guardianship of over one hundred developmentally disabled adults, enabling many of these adults to live in the community. Her experience permits her to assist her clients in protecting a family's life savings from the losses due to estate and gift taxes, and the exorbitant costs of nursing home and home care assistance.
