General Info

Thomas and Linda Carroll founded Thrifty Exterminating in 1975, starting with only six residential accounts. Since then, the company has grown into a full service pest control operation servicing thousands of residential and commercial accounts. The business continues as family owned and operated with their son, Todd Carroll, acting as Senior Managing Technician and their daughter, Kimberly Taubman, working part time as a secretary in the office. Linda's cousin, Amy Ahne, also woks as a part time secretary. The office manager is Janet Magnuson, who is usually referred to as the "adopted daughter" of the family. Both Tom and Linda are actively involved in the day to day operations of their business along with taking part in helping other businesses and the Staten Island Community. We are actively involved in the following community organizations: * Home Improvement Contractors * Business Guild II * South Shore Rotary * Staten Island Rotary * Alzheimer's Association of Staten Island * South Shore Kiwanis * Staten Island Board of Realtors * Boy Scouts

had them out last year to get a price on termite treatment seemed very nice but we decided to hold off called them this year to get a price/set up treatment never called me back, then when i called them they said they were not interested in the job?!?

After my neighbor was stung and chased by yellow jackets we called Thrifty Exterminating. They quickly came to my home and inspected for the problem. Their technician found a large nest under some railroad ties and promptly took care of the problem. He was extremely nice and very prepared. I would highly recommend Thrifty Exterminating.

What a great company! I would highly recommend them. I was so upset when I called them and their office staff was friendly and efficient. When they came to my home their techician was very experienced and thorough. They solved my problem and I am very happy.
